Who is XCIS?

XCIS Australia designs and manufactures monitoring and control systems for farm assets in the small to mid-market agricultural sector.

Our platform is simple to install, runs on your farm and is easy to setup.

What do we do?

We provide a range of sensors to run farm operations including tank level sensors, trough level sensors, flow meters, bore controllers, weather stations, electric fence monitors, and gate sensors. The system is designed to be easily expandable by the customer once installed to include additional sensors as the farm needs change. We are designing new sensors for the system as they become cost effective and suitable for agricultural use (e.g soil analysis sensors)

The system also comprises a management control unit which integrates the system, securely stores all the data and provides an interactive dashboard to allow users to control and monitor the performance of their farm from anywhere in the world via the farm's existing Internet connection and using various devices including mobile, tablet, and desktop computers. The system is fully capable of being able to "Partner up" via secure interfaces with third party providers to enhance the utilisation of the valuable data collected on your farm.

What stage are we up to?

We have been in operation for four years with a Wagyu stud farm running a prototype of our solution.

Our Version 2 solution is currently under test and will be ready for distribution soon.

Where is it made?

The system is manufactured in Australia with software and electronics engineering design done locally. In continous development, we are always looking for new innovations to make the system better and are happy to work with you - the end user and farmer - to customise and develop new features which can enhance your farm operations.

What is the coverage like?

We use a unique communications technique which is based on LoRa (LongRange) communications which enables the system to work around difficult terrain to ensure full, reliable and unlimited communications coverage.

Is it robust?

The Australian farming environment is possibly the harshest in the world. All of our hardware is designed to be installed into this environment and withstand extreme temperatures and weather conditions.

The system is designed to run completely off grid - in the remotest locations. However if you have access to the Internet via any means, our system can use that link to expand access for you from anywhere in the world.
